BOISE, Idaho - The Occupy Wall Street rallies and marches have spread to Idaho, with several hundred protesters expected at events in downtown Boise today and Wednesday. About 300 marched in the rain last week.

Sara Cramer, a volunteer co-coordinator of public actions for Occupy Boise, says the motivations of the marchers are diverse and represent concerns ranging from the need for creation of good-paying jobs, to homeowner foreclosure assistance, and to calling out political corruption.

"We're not politically-affiliated. We're the 99 percent, everybody who is not one of the wealthiest one percent in the country exerting far too much control over the rest of the people."

Cramer says Occupy Boise counts about two thousand supporters, after about two weeks of organizing. Most outreach is done through social media, with event listings on Facebook. Occupy Boise meets in Capitol Park all day today, and will march around downtown Boise tomorrow afternoon.

Cramer says it's all about the power of the people, and that's why there are so many different views represented at the marches.

"Everybody, I think, comes for their own reasons. Anybody is welcome to come and everybody has a voice."
