Veronica was born in Santa Cruz, California and worked in radio around the northern part of the state until 2005 when she moved to the Midwest. In Chicago, she worked as an anchor and reporter at CBS Radio, WGN, and Rivet Radio before joining Public News Service. She has two boys and a girl and two dogs who think they are children too!
