Zamone “Z” Perez is a reporter and producer, covering the Mid-Atlantic. He previously wrote for Military Times, where he worked as a Pentagon reporter and produced a daily national security podcast. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, where he researched international ethics and atrocity prevention in his thesis. He is particularly fond of his home state of Illinois and Lake Michigan.
